Like every suitcase in the Aviator collection, the Carry On's exterior is 70% recycled polycarbonate sourced from certified post-consumer material. Handles and trim are 100% recycled, the lining and interior straps are 100% recycled polyester. Zips run on YKK Natulon® tape, made from 100% recycled material, with aluminum pulls. Every wheel, handle, and lock is designed for repair, so the suitcase itself doesn't have to be replaced.

Compare the Aviator Grand and Trunk

For longer journeys, both give you generous space to pack with ease. The Grand is our medium suitcase, sized for a week or more away, with room for every outfit and occasion. The Trunk goes further, with a deeper, roomier design built for extended adventures and bulkier layers. Choose the Grand as your go-to checked bag, or the Trunk when you'd rather bring everything along.

Tested Before You Travel

Zipper Testing
Every zipper is pulled to 249lb of lateral force and cycled 500 times, so it won't split open mid-transit, even when it's fully packed.
Handle Testing
Every suitcase is lifted, dropped, and vibrated by the handle thousands of times under a 66lb load, simulating years of baggage handling, using overhead bins, and hauling up and down stairs.
Wheel Testing
Every wheel runs 10 miles continuously over four hours, under a 66lb load. Built to handle cobblestones, ramps, moving walkways, and train platforms.
Drop Testing
Dropped repeatedly from 12 inches at room temperature, and up to 35 inches after being chilled to 10°F, when materials are most prone to cracking, simulating rough handling on tarmacs and carousels in any climate.
Trim Testing
Our recycled trim is rubbed 500 times and flexed 50,000 times to mimic years of friction against airport floors, luggage racks, and everyday handling.
