Cabin Luggage

Yes. The Paravel Carry-On measures 55 x 36 x 23 cm (21.7 x 14.2 x 9.1 in), within the 56 x 45 x 25 cm cabin bag allowance used by British Airways, easyJet and Jet2, so it fits the overhead locker on most UK and European flights. It rolls on Japanese-made spinner wheels sized to clear the locker. On stricter carriers such as Ryanair, or on long-haul routes, confirm your airline's limit before you travel.

The standard Carry-On measures 55 x 36 x 23 cm (21.7 x 14.2 x 9.1 in) and is sized for the overhead locker on most airlines, while the larger Carry-On Plus measures 56.7 x 37.3 x 24.4 cm (22.3 x 14.7 x 9.6 in), holds 47 L and weighs 3.5 kg. The Carry-On Plus is the largest size we make that still travels as a cabin bag, so choose it when you want maximum cabin space. Anything larger, such as a 60 cm suitcase, is hold luggage on most carriers.

For international travel, check your airline's cabin limits first. Low-cost European carriers often set tighter allowances than the 56 x 45 x 25 cm standard, commonly 55 x 40 x 20 cm, and some long-haul airlines cap cabin bags near 7 kg. The standard Carry-On is the safer choice on these routes, though its 23 cm depth sits above the tightest 20 cm limits, so it may still need to go in the hold on strict carriers. Confirm your carrier's size and weight allowance before you fly.

The larger Carry-On Plus holds 47 L, enough for roughly three to five days of packing depending on how you pack, and a built-in compression board and two smart pockets help you fit more. Packing volume for the standard Carry-On is 45.5 L. Both use compression rather than an expansion zip, so the suitcase keeps its cabin bag shape when full.

The larger Carry-On Plus weighs 3.5 kg (7.7 lb) empty, in line with other hardside cabin bags of its size. The standard Carry-On weighs 3.3 kg (7.3 lb). Empty weight matters most on airlines with a cabin weight limit, such as Ryanair's 10 kg or easyJet's 15 kg, and on long-haul carriers that cap cabin bags near 7 kg, since it counts towards your allowance before you pack.

No. Rather than an expansion zip, each cabin bag has a built-in compression board that lets you press a full load down and keep the suitcase within its cabin dimensions. If you want more room, choose the larger Carry-On Plus at 47 L instead of expanding a smaller size. Compression keeps the shape airlines measure, so a packed suitcase still fits the locker.
