Paravel Reimagined

Paravel's new era begins here.

What hasn't changed is Paravel's timeless yet innovative design and the belief that travel itself is a luxury. What's evolved is our use of premium recycled materials, designed for longevity, backed by a traceable supply chain and a renewed focus on product repair over replacement. Considered, authentic, and unmistakably American, our luggage is made to be kept, not replaced.

Our Philosophy

The luxury of travel defines Paravel. It's in our New England influences, the intention behind every detail, and our intrepid, optimistic spirit. It's in the belief that luxury and sustainability can coexist, and that good design translates everywhere you go.

Our Design

Our textures and colors take their cues from the New England coast: navy blue inspired by the waters of Bar Harbor, crisp mainsail white, and the texture of classic yacht decks. Nautical stripes run through our webbing and trims. A new color-blocked palette and signature fleck of recycled materials visible in the shell make this collection unmistakably Paravel.

    Zipper Testing

Every zipper is pulled to 249lb of lateral force and cycled 500 times, so it won't split open mid-transit, even when it's fully packed.

    Handle Testing

Every suitcase is lifted, dropped, and vibrated by the handle thousands of times under a 66lb load, simulating years of baggage handling, using overhead bins, and hauling up and down stairs.

    Wheel Testing

Every wheel runs 10 miles continuously over four hours, under a 66lb load. Built to handle cobblestones, ramps, moving walkways, and train platforms.

    Drop Testing

Dropped repeatedly from 12 inches at room temperature, and up to 35 inches after being chilled to 10°F, when materials are most prone to cracking, simulating rough handling on tarmacs and carousels in any climate.

    Trim Testing

Our recycled trim is rubbed 500 times and flexed 50,000 times to mimic years of friction against airport floors, luggage racks, and everyday handling.
